Risk Management and Legal Responsibilities Blog Post

I expected to learn about what happens when legal action is taken against the hospital or any employee of a hospital.  Karie Minaga-Miya talked to us about the job of a risk manager and what kinds of decisions she needs to make.  There were a few scenarios that were no-brainers, but then others brought up in class that I'm not sure how I would make the judgement call.  From what we discussed, the risk manager is probably very concerned about proper documentation and facility protocol.  All the talk about legal issues makes me worry about documentation and getting sued.
